Meet the Interns
Sean Molony
Why did you decide to follow a career path in property? I had an interest in construction from a very young age which led me to pursuing a career in property.
What’s the most unusual or interesting job you had? The most interesting job I’ve had is working in the deli in Supervalu.
Tell us a joke? Why don’t eggs tell jokes ? They’d crack each other up.
How do you spend your spare time? I enjoy going to the gym, playing golf and keeping up to date with various sports such as Rugby, Football and Formula 1.
You’re having a dinner with 3 famous people, who are they? Thierry Henry, Brian O’Driscoll and Bryson DeChambeau.
What’s your favourite film/book? My favourite film would be Creed 2.
If you had to eat one meal forever what would it be? Bacon cheeseburger and chips.
3 words to describe your first impressions of Knight Frank? Welcoming, professional and motivating.
Daniel O’Connell
Why did you decide to follow a career path in property? I was always interested in property. As a kid I was fascinated with huge skyscrapers and towers. I wanted a job that deals with people and being busy outside of the office. I enjoy an office environment as well, it’s a very easy space to learn and I enjoy having my own desk. As soon as I started my course in Real Estate, I knew I was on the right career path.
What’s the most unusual or interesting job you had? When I was in primary school, I used to sell conkers for 50c.
Tell us a joke? Why did the scarecrow win an award? He was outstanding in his field.
How do you spend your spare time? I try to spend as much time around my friends as possible. You can always find me in hogans on a Friday evening!
You’re having a dinner with 3 famous people, who are they? Jonah Hill, Morgan Freeman and Jurgen Klopp.
What’s your favourite film/book? The Green Mile.
If you had to eat one meal forever what would it be? Roast Chicken.
3 words to describe your first impressions of Knight Frank? Friendly, fast-paced, welcoming
Oran O’Donnell
Why did you decide to follow a career path in property? I started off pursuing engineering in college, which was short lived, transferring over to property economics in TUD after 5 weeks. It was the opportunity to work on something new every day while meeting new people constantly from other agencies, tenants and landlords that appealed to me.
What’s the most unusual or interesting job you had? I’ve had many part-time and summer jobs; one being working for a promotional company where I had to bring bar tenders from around the world to various pubs around Dublin to drink Jameson for a night.
Tell us a joke? What does the world’s top dentist get? ….A little plaque
How do you spend your spare time? Anything really, every weekend could be different. (Starting to get into golf)
You’re having a dinner with 3 famous people, who are they? Joe Rogan, Jamie Foxx, Mark Cuban
What’s your favourite film/book? Wolf of Wall Street
If you had to eat one meal forever, what would it be? Any pasta dish
