Dylan Bannon has recently joined the Knight Frank team as a Graduate Surveyor in the Valuations & Advisory department. Dylan previously completed his college placement with us, so we’re delighted to welcome him back to the team.
We asked Dylan to do a little Q&A so you could get to know him a little better.
Tell us a little about your career journey to date:
I have just completed my degree in Real Estate Ulster University. As part of my third year I completed a year long industry placement here at Knight Frank between 2019-2020.
Why did you decide to get in to property?
I’ve family who work in the area, and I was always interested in their roles and what they were doing, so it just really appealed to me.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
It’s that old cliché of every day is different, you never know what to expect. As a graduate surveyor I’m still learning the ropes and it’s great as you learn that you can see you are beginning to understand more and put in to practice what we’ve learned over the last few years. I’m particularly enjoying getting to work with and know our clients.

If you had to eat one meal forever what would it be?
Sweet honey chilli chicken, fried rice and chips

How do you spend your spare time?
At the Pitch or in the Pub

I normally just watch whatever or whoever is on, no real preference
