What made you consider a career in property?

I met with a guidance councillor when I was in 3rd or 4th year in school. I knew I wanted to do something business related but specifically more practical-based or hands-on. Based on some aptitude tests he suggested the Property Economics (Valuations Surveying) Level 8 course in TU Dublin. I also loved watching property tv shows like ‘Million Dollar Listing’ over the years.

Tell me about your Property Economics course?

It’s a four year degree. There is about 46 people in the course and only 11 of us are female! Some of the modules we have done so far are investment and development valuations, economics, law and financial management. In year three, we must do an internship in the second semester and in our final year, we’ll have to write a thesis on a topic of our choice.

Why Knight Frank for your property internship?

I choose Knight Frank because it’s a global company and the staff were so lovely when I came in to interview.

Tell me a little bit about yourself?

I’m fluent in Irish – same as my granny. I went to a Gaelscoil and took all my Junior and Leaving Cert exams in Irish. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and walking my White Swiss Shepard Enzo!

Favourite holiday destination?

I went to Mexico on a family vacation and the beaches were just absolutely spectacular.

Top place you’d like to visit?

The pyramids in Egypt.
